SEA-i® is based on the lactoperoxidase system (LPS). This antimicrobial system is widely present in nature (e.g. mother’s milk and saliva) and is characterized by strong and selective antimicrobial activity, reducing bacterial growth (bacteriostatic) and even killing bacteria (bactericidal).
